As you are aware that the Indian Green Building
Council (IGBC) is making rapid strides in advancing
the Green Building concept through the involvement of
stakeholders of the construction industry. The movement has evoked tremendous
response amongst the various stakeholders.
With the encouraging support and patronage of people like your
good selves, India stands tall today as second nation in the world pursuing
green buildings. Since 2001, IGBC has cumulatively catalyzed over 13,700 green
building projects, amounting to over 11.67 Billion sq.ft,.
The intention of IGBC is to reach out
the Green Building concepts at the state and regional levels, so
as to meet the local aspirations.
